I never received my PR Card, what do I do?

If you have not received your Permanent Resident (PR) Card, there are a few steps you can take:

1. Check the status of your application: You can check the status of your application on the Government of Canada’s website using the UCI number that was provided to you when you applied for your PR Card.
2. Contact the Case Processing Centre (CPC) that is responsible for processing your application: You can find the contact information for the CPC on the Government of Canada’s website. You should be prepared to provide your full name, date of birth, and your file number (if you have it) when you contact them.
3. Request a replacement: If your PR Card has been lost, stolen, or never received, you can request a replacement by filling out the form IMM 5445, “Application for a Permanent Resident Card” and submitting it along with all required documents and fee.
4. Get professional help: You may wish to seek the help of an authorized immigration consultant or lawyer who can assist you with the replacement process, ensure that your application is complete, and help you avoid any delays or mistakes in the process.
   
   

It’s important to note that it is your responsibility to ensure that you receive your PR card and keep it up to date. Not having a valid PR Card could cause issues when you need to travel outside and re-enter Canada, and it could also affect your ability to prove your status to employers, banks and other organizations.
